A white shirt in a man’s wardrobe is a timeless classic. Undoubtedly versatile, it is a must-have in every man’s wardrobe. If you don’t dress too formally every day, then the OCBD (Oxford Cloth Button Down) shirt is for you.
At the beginning of the 20th century, a shirt was considered an undergarment. Today, it is one of the most important clothing items. However, the qualities that indicate quality craftsmanship and comfort have not changed. It is the layer that has direct contact with our body, so it’s worth examining the details that will make it comfortable to wear.
The fabric from which our shirt is made is 100% cotton from the Albiate (Albini Group) manufacturer. Here, there is no room for shortcuts. Not only clothes for special occasions can have high quality and above-average durability. We held onto this principle. The material is substantial and has a distinctive basketweave pattern. Thanks to natural fibers and a loose weave, our skin will have guaranteed comfort. This weave works well in both casual and semi-formal daily outfits. Whether it’s a business meeting, a workday, an outing with friends, or a weekend stroll, our shirt is suitable for many occasions.
The button-down collar we have used is one of the most versatile daily choices. It fits many occasions and looks great both unbuttoned and with a tie.
We entrusted the sewing of our shirt collection to the best Polish tailors. This ensures that the quality of the stitching will not disappoint you. Durable seams are finished inside with a lingerie method. Not only does it look neat, but it also prevents skin irritation from the inner seam. Mother-of-pearl buttons are sewn using the Florentine method on the shank, using the Ascolite method. This technology makes the button undetachable. A stitch density above 6 per cm indicates the highest quality craftsmanship. Similarly, the split yoke, which makes the back construction fit better and be more flexible. Speaking of the cut, we aimed to achieve a construction that would be the perfect balance between fit and comfort. The waist is accentuated, and the sleeves are not excessively narrow.
