Golf – a sport historically associated with the legacy of the upper class in the past century. It was often wrapped in an aura of exclusivity, with high membership fees and strict selection processes that ensured belonging to these elite circles. Nowadays, golf has become a more accessible form of entertainment. The main challenge in enjoying this sport today is simply driving off the main city road to reach those vast green spaces.

Similar associations might arise when looking at the outfits we’ve selected. You’ll find long coats, cricket sweaters, and high-waisted trousers. Even the color palette, dominated by browns and navy blues, evokes fashion from bygone eras.

The concept for the photoshoot was simple: to best capture the atmosphere of an early autumn morning spent playing golf with friends. The golf course, located on the northern outskirts of Wrocław, greeted us with fading mist and the slowly emerging sun. Given the early autumn chill, we decided to bring coats, and in this case, everyone opted for loose, versatile raglan styles.

It’s hard to imagine a golf course without the iconic white golf carts, which whisked us on a swift journey across the meticulously trimmed greens and fringes (i.e., the playing fields). Considering the serene surroundings, it’s no surprise that golf is one of those sports that, in addition to physical benefits, can bring a sense of peace and balance.

At the first hole, we had the opportunity to admire the craftsmanship of the golf clubs, as well as the seemingly simple accessory—the bag used to carry them.

One aspect that certainly sets this sport apart from many others is the lack of barriers to engaging in conversation and exchanging observations. In our case, this facilitated a quick introduction and learning experience.

At this point, someone might wonder how it’s even possible for a person dressed in several layers, including a coat, to manage a proper swing with a golf club. The answer lies in our earlier mentioned raglan cuts. Not only are they crafted from lighter wool, but they also provide better range of motion thanks to the seamless construction between the body and the sleeve. After all, the saying “good tailoring allows for movement” exists for a reason.

After this brief introduction, we invite you to explore our lookbook. Leading the way are cricket sweaters, raglan coats, light flannels, and taking center stage – golf.
